Calling All Dads, Grandads and Male Carers!

Colin Sure Start are currently running programmes designed to let dads and children bond together, through play, learning, and physical activities. Our dads groups create an environment to encourage creativity and arts and crafts, reading, cook cheap and cheerful foods that are healthy, get exercise and enjoy the outdoors. Any dad, grandad or male carer, living in the Colin area, with a child or children under 4 can attend. All our programmes are free and registration is an easy process.   Here are the programmes that are running currently or coming up: 1. Dads Den – Playing together with toys, arts and crafts. 2. Aqua Dads – Dads and kids in the swimming pool learning how to swim and enjoy the water 3. Dads and Kids Active – Physical exercise, sometimes outdoors (walking in Colin Glen, building shelters and dams in the river) 4. Dads Digging (allotment) – Growing our own food. 5. Dads REading AMazing Stories (DReAMS) – Focusing on dads reading, building literacy skills and fostering a love of books. 6. Dads Cook It!
