Well folks - it is returning - after not being able to run last year due to Covid lockdown we are back with our annual Fathers Day Event and BBQ!! It will be held on Saturday, 19th June, the day before fathers day, and is open to any families registered with Colin Sure Starts - and we welcome Dads, Grandads and male carers as well as partners and children too.
Due to existing Covid measures the event is being held entirely outside up in the beautiful Colin Allotments at the back of Poleglass on the Colinglen Road:

And to keep to social distancing guidance and within the total numbers allowed, booking is essential and we are staggering the start times to allow as many families to enjoy and participate as possible. There will be a range of art, craft and nature activities for you to enjoy aimed at children aged 4 and under, and there will also be legendary birdman Aidan Crean who will be doing some live demonstrations with wild birds as well as a make-your-own birdbox activity. It will also include a BBQ with tasty burgers and sausages and all the trimmings! The event is free.
