New Programmes Starting September!

1st Sep 2023

We hope everyone had a lovely summer. Our full schedule of programmes and groups returns in September, with lots of opportunities for parents and children 0-4 to get involved in a range of activities to suit their age and stage of development. Our postnatal journey programmes (for 0-1 year olds) will be kicking off again, and our staff will be in contact with all those who have expressed an interest, but if you have a child under 1 and would like to find out more about any of these programmes (GroBrain, Weaning Workshops, Baby Massage, Baby Time or Baby Yoga) please get in touch on 90601417.

Our regular Parent and Toddler groups will be starting up again from Monday, 11th September. These include weekly groups in Lagmore (Monday), St. Kierans PS (Tuesday), Stewartstown Road Health Centre (Thursday) and Colin Family Centre, Poleglass (Friday). They are booked on the week ahead via our website at https://www.colinsurestart.com/eventbooker/event-1/

Also our 2 weekly Rhythm, Rhyme and Story Time programmes will resume from that week, every Tuesday up in Mount Eagles Community Hall from 10 am and Wednesday in the Dairy Farm Library from 10 am. They are also booked a week in advance via our website https://www.colinsurestart.com/eventbooker/event-1/
This year, the Rhythm, Rhyme and Story Time in Mount Eagles will also include a partnership with Footprints Social Supermarket, so anyone attending this group will get to try out this brilliant community resource! We will put more info about this up on our website shortly.

We also still have a few spaces left for our Aquababes programme (0-1 year old) and AquaToddlers programmes (1-3 years) starting in September. If you’re interested in either please call or text Colleen on 07990072540, and provide your name and childs age. You must be registered with Colin Sure Start to attend our programmes.

If you live in the Colin area and have a child or children under 4 years and would like to find out more about our services and how to get registered, please just give us a call on 90601417 and we will arrange a welcome visit with one of our staff to get registered and explain our services and programmes and see what might suit. All our groups are free, and have real benefit to both parents and children in supporting their play, socialisation, learning and development!
